Olivier Brandicourt
President and General Manager, Primary Care
Olivier Brandicourt, M.D., is President and General Manager of Pfizer's Primary Care Business Unit, the industry's leading Primary Care business with more than $22 billion in revenue, and co-chair of the company's Portfolio Strategy and Investment (PSI) Committee. He has 20 years of international experience in the pharmaceutical industry including executive responsibilities in France, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. He has held senior positions across a range of disciplines from Medical to Marketing to overall country and regional management at Pfizer and previously with Warner-Lambert/Parke-Davis.
Olivier holds a medical degree with a subspecialty in infectious diseases and Tropical Medicine, as well as a masters degree in biology from Paris University. After completing his studies, Olivier spent two years in the Congo as a doctor and eight years with the tropical disease Institute in Paris, where he spent half his time in West and Central Africa working on malaria research. Olivier is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in London.
